Farmer/Farm Manager Needed ASAP!

Liberty Hall Farm is an historic property that was a working farm from 1772 until the mid-1900s. The property is now owned by Kean University and we have begun farming 4 acres of land again.

We are looking for a farmer to run the farm for the 2013 growing season. The ideal candidate will have his/her own staff to work the land but Kean University will provide the farming equipment and supplies. Primary responsibilities include:

- Purchase of new farm equipment
- Planting and harvesting
- Overseeing farm staff
- Working with the chef at Kean University’s farm to table restaurant, Ursino, to coordinate planting and harvesting schedules
